Michigan State Public Benefit Funds for Energy Efficiency

Michigan's 2000 restructuring law legislation created the Low-Income Energy and Efficiency (LIEE) fund to provide energy payment assistance and fund energy efficiency programs. On February 24,2005 the Micigan Public Service Commission approved $5 million in low-income energy efficiency grants from its Low-Income and Energy Efficiency Fund.
