Wisconsin State and Local Funds

• State and local sales tax was suspended for LIHEAP eligible households for the costs of home heating to direct additional funds to those households to relieve the costs of home heating, over $7 million in 2007.
  
  
• State funds match with LIHEAP utility assistance, and landlord copay for weatherization work to reduce energy costs to reduce homelessness.
