"Fans For Life" Program Begins in Texas

Green Mountain Energy Company and Family Services of Greater Houston announced they have joined forces to help low-income families in the Houston area fight the blistering summertime heat. The "Fans for Life" program begins August 23rd and runs for four weeks through September 20th.  For every new residential customer Green Mountain Energy Company successfully enrolls for its cleaner electricity service at one of its Houston area events during this time period, a $12 donation will be made to purchase fans for elderly and low-income families.  The goal is to provide 200 fans.
   
Family Services of Greater Houston provides counseling, education and support services to give children and families the tools and skills needed to improve their own lives and the Houston community.
