2004 Joint Low-Income Energy ConferencesIt's time to register for the year's premier low-income energy event, the 2004 Joint Low Income Energy Conferences to be held June 6–10 at the Hyatt Regency in St. Louis, Missouri. This year's theme is "Gateway to Energy Solutions and Partnerships." The annual conferences of the National Low Income Energy Consortium (NLIEC), the National Fuel Funds Network (NFFN) and the National Energy Assistance Directors' Association (NEADA) begin with NFFN's annual conference on Sunday and Monday June 6-7. NEADA's annual meeting starts Sunday and runs through Monday. NLIEC's 18th annual conference begins with a reception Monday, June 7, and continues through Thursday noon. A highlight of the event will be a celebration of the NFFN's 20th anniversary. NFFN invites all joint conference attendees to join in celebrating with a gala Dinner Dance and Program, June 7, at the close of NFFN's annual conference. The NLIEC will feature a plenary session titled "A Dialog on Energy Poverty" with speakers from key national anti-poverty groups. It will also present two and one-half days of workshops on LIHEAP issues, consumer education and service, utility markets and programs, energy efficiency and housing, and a tour of St. Louis weatherization projects.
