WAP Gets $230 Million for 2004

On November 10, President Bush signed into law H.R. 2691, Department of the Interior and Related Agencies Appropriations Act, 2004, allowing $230 million for the Department of Energy Weatherization Assistance Program. The Administration had proposed $282 million for the program for FY 2004; the House had proposed $240 million, and the Senate, $230 million. FY 2003 funding was $223.5 million.
