LIHEAP, WAP and CSBG Budget Update

FY 2007 Funding

LIHEAP
With the 2007 Continuing Resolution (CR) signed into law on February 15, LIHEAP receives $1.98 billion in regular funding and $181.17 million in emergency contingency funds for a total of $2.161 billion. 

Weatherization Assistance Program (WAP)
WAP funding as passed in the 2007 House Energy and Water Appropriations Bill was $254.5 million; however, because the Administration had discretion to move funds about in the DOE Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy account, the 2007 budget has been cut to $204.5 million. 

Community Services Block Grant (CSBG)
CSBG is funded at its FY 2006 level, $630 million.
